Listen to the band perform to remember the battle of Ewloe Woods in 1157
Fast forward to 1hr 25 mins
Strange you may say for this bunch of heathans to be in church on a Sunday (especially on Glyndwr Day) We played in the small but beautifull venue in Cerrig Y Drudion in a beautiful service where local singers old and young (and supperbly talented) provided song in this village's effort to keep community spirit going
"one of our best yet!" said JJ our traditionaly reserved leader
The day was a tribute to Owain Glyndwr who's royal banner flew throuought the service

August 31 st and Sept 1st was a very bussy weekend for the troupe as we started in Bangor representing the North Wales U18 Rugby team who were hosts to Leincester the Irish giants.
The event went brilliantly with both teams enjoying the music and having a tune played for them as they took to the field.
The participants were presented with a pin badge from the Leincester team as a thank you.
We followed that up with a short trip to the Llai "Caer Alun" archaeological dig site where we marched onto the ancient fort site and then played "Men of Harlech" over the dig for the spectators. It was nice to play where our ancestors once stood!
